Bomb Pot: dynamics and excitement in every hand
Bomb Pot is a new format that adds more action, changes your strategy and makes every hand unpredictable.
How it works?
At a random moment during the game, the Bomb Pot is activated. All active players at the table must deposit a certain amount (ante) equal to several blinds. After that, the flop (three common cards) is revealed and you can start the game with more information about the potential combinations.
Key features of Bomb Pot:
- Increased pot: Due to mandatory betting by all players, the pot is significantly larger than in a normal hand. This increases the chances of big wins;
- more action: The increased pot motivates players to take more risks and play more hands, making the game even more interesting;
- element of surprise: Since the betting doesn't start until after the flop, players don't know how strong their opponents' cards are.
Where will Bomb Pot be available?
Bomb Pot will be available at tables marked with a bomb-shaped icon and the words “Bomb Pot” in the name. The terms of play (mandatory bet size and frequency of Bomb Pot activation) are specified at each table. The tables with this feature will appear gradually and their number will increase over time.
Before the start of the Bomb Pot hand you will see a bright animation of an exploding bomb, which signals the beginning of the game with special rules.
HUD (Head-Up Display): your personal analyst at the poker table
If you've been playing on Pokerdom for a long time, you know that we banned any third-party software so that all players would be on a level playing field. Now we give all players the opportunity to analyze their opponents' play, but not be distracted by any software, as we provide the most convenient tool within the poker client!
The HUD feature is a powerful addition that helps you analyze your opponents' play and make more informed decisions.
What does the HUD show?
- Opponents' playing style: from Nit players to aggressive Maniacs;
- Aggression: low, moderate, high;
- Luck: shows who is lucky and who is not so lucky (Lucky or Unlucky).
Also with its help you can see additionally and detailed statistics on such indicators:
- VPIP (percentage of participation in hands);
- PFR (percentage of preflop raises);
- 3bet PF (frequency of preflop 3-bets);
- Aggression Frequency (frequency of postflop aggression);
- number of hands played and total win/loss.
How does it work?
HUD data appears after you play at least 10 hands with your opponent. Icons and tooltips will help you to quickly navigate through the information.
How does the HUD help?
HUD allows you to adapt your strategy by analyzing your opponents' behavior and helps you make more accurate decisions. However, you should not rely on it 100%, as it is just an auxiliary element.
HUD can be customized in the client and turned off if you prefer not to see your own or your opponents' stats. However, disabling HUD in your settings won’t hide your stats from other players if they have HUD enabled.
