At the beginning of the game, you need to choose whom to bet on - a player, a banker (dealer), and/or a draw. When the bet is made, in the field of a player and a bank, two cards are dealt face up from a deck of 52. The goal is to score nine points or as close to that. Points are awarded as follows: cards from two to nine - at face value, an ace is one point, and 10-J-Q-K - zero. If the total is 10 points or more, then 10 is subtracted from the total. Thus, 7 and jack will give 7 points, and 6 and 7 will give 6+7=13-10=3 points. If a player or a dealer has 8 or 9 points from two cards, then the game ends, and the one who has more - wins (a draw is also possible). If 8 or 9 points are not scored, a player buys a third card if they have 0-5 points. After that, a dealer can also buy a third card; their strategy is more complex and depends on the player's points sum.
This is where the game ends; the points of a player and a banker are counted and compared, and whoever has more - wins. The bet on a player in case of their victory is paid 1 to 1 (the rest of the bets are lost), and the bet on a banker in case of their victory is 1 to 1 minus 5% commission. If the points are equal, then a draw is declared, the bets on a player and a dealer are returned, and the bet on a draw is paid 9 to 1 (sometimes 8 to 1).
