6 Card Omaha is an exciting game derived from the regular Omaha. Its difference is that players receive six cards each, and five community cards form a board. To make combinations, you must use any two pocket cards and three cards from the board.
How to play 6 Card Omaha?
The gameplay is identical to the classic Omaha. Two players post the small and big blinds (positions shift clockwise in each subsequent hand), and all players sitting at the table receive six pocket cards.
The first round of betting begins pre-flop. If a player wishes to continue their hand, they must either call the big blind or raise. If not, then they fold. Betting continues until all players who want to see the flop have made the same bet into the pot. Then on the flop, three community cards are dealt, which are available for making the best combination for all players remaining in hand. Another round of trading is underway. The 4th community card is dealt on the turn. Players can raise or equalize bets again. The 5th community card is the river, where the players can finally determine their best available combination. The last round of trading is underway. If, after it, there are several active players left in the game, a showdown occurs. The player with the best 5-card combination wins the hand. If several players have collected equal combinations, the pot is distributed equally between them.
